Proverbs 24:3-4 NIV
3 By wisdom a house is built,
and through understanding it is established;
4 through knowledge its rooms are filled
with rare and beautiful treasures.
Wisdom, understanding, and knowledge are three very important aspects of our lives. When we are full of God, we have wisdom, and our lives can be fruitful. With understanding, we can build on a solid foundation. To truly understand God and His will, we need to build on sturdy ground. This comes with turning to Him completely for all our needs.
Knowledge of God is key. We need to know Him in intimate ways. To obtain this knowledge, we must interact with Him. This includes praying, reading our Bible, and learning from others. There are countless ways we can obtain the wisdom, understanding, and knowledge we need to have a close personal relationship with God.
Father, I want to be closer to You. I want to experience all the wisdom I can obtain from You. Please lead me in the right paths. Your understanding is much needed in my life. To learn and grow, I must understand Your ways. I also need to know more about You. Help me find ways to get to know You on a more intimate level every day. Thank You for all Your help. In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
