I am Worthy
2 Thessalonians 1:5 ESV
5 This is evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be considered worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are also suffering—
We will all go through trials at some point in our lives. As a believer, we will suffer more than usual. When we are doing God’s will, the enemy will come to attack us. He will try to stop every good deed we do to further God’s Kingdom.
When we are truly following God’s will, we should be doing what He says. We should be out witnessing to others and helping them further their walk with God. If we are not doing what God asks of us, we are not following His ways. We will not have the fight from the devil because we are simply walking his way. We only have the hard trials when we are going against the will of the enemy.
No matter the price, we should be walking in all God has for us. He considers us worthy to be used by Him. He chose each of us to follow His command because He knew He could trust us. Even if we don’t have faith in ourselves, God always has faith in us. He will never give up on us. His plan is always perfect.
Father, I give you thanks You count me worthy enough to do Your will. You have called me to do Your service for the Kingdom of God. Please help me do everything You ask of me. I want to listen and do Your will. In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
